- Small yet Robust: The X-am 5600 is small, light, and easy to use. It’s designed for single-handed operation in tough industrial environments. It’s water- and dustproof (IP 67) with an integrated rubber boot for optimal functionality under harsh conditions.
- Durable Infrared Technology: Dräger infrared sensors are stable and resistant to contamination, lasting up to eight years. This reduces ownership costs as fewer replacement sensors are needed. Sensor calibration is only required every 12 months, lowering maintenance costs.
- Accurate Measurement: The IR Ex sensor measures explosive hydrocarbons at the lower explosive limit. The IR CO2 sensor provides accurate measurements and warnings against toxic CO2 concentrations. A dual sensor (Dual IR CO2/Ex) offers advantages for applications requiring both measurements.
- Hydrogen Detection: The X-am 5600 combines Infrared Ex and electrochemical H2 sensors for reliable hydrogen detection. It offers poison-free technology for areas previously requiring catalytic Ex sensors.
- Various Monitoring Possibilities: The gas detector detects explosive, combustible, and harmful concentrations of multiple gases, including O2, Cl2, CO, CO2, H2, H2S, and more. The sensors can be easily exchanged, calibrated, or converted using Drager CC-Vision software.
- Flexible Use: An optional external pump, operable with hoses up to 30 meters, is ideal for pre-entry measurements in tanks or pipelines. The X-am 5600 can be combined with the Dräger X-zone 5000 for area monitoring.
- Suitable for Ex-Zone 0: The device is suitable for use in areas where explosive atmospheres are always expected (zone 0).
- Area Monitoring: Up to 25 Dräger X-zone 5000 units can interconnect to form a wireless fenceline, securing large areas quickly, such as pipelines or industrial tanks during shutdowns.
