Considerations / Usage Tips

• Because it is non‐vented, it may be less comfortable in very hot, humid conditions or physically demanding work where airflow under the shell is helpful.

• The UVicator sensor is a visual cue — still inspect the helmet regularly for damage, cracks, deformation, wear, or after any impact.

• Confirm that the version you purchase is the right colour/variant for your region and safety standard. The “H-701SFR-UV” is the white cap-style; for other colours the model number changes (e.g., H-702 for yellow, H-703 for blue).

• Ensure that local regulations (in your region) accept ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 (US standard) or equivalent standard (for example CE/EN or other country‐specific standard) for the work application.

• Replacement schedule: though the UVicator helps, best practice often involves replacing hard hats periodically (e.g., every 2-5 years depending on environment, UV exposure, wear, damage) as recommended by the manufacturer.

• Use with proper suspension adjustment: ensure the ratchet is snug but comfortable; check that the suspension sits low on the head (as designed) and that the sweatband is properly maintained.
